This coming Monday, April 4, is a national day of solidarity with those Wisconsin workers facing Walker’s assault on collective bargaining, arguably the most naked display of the state acting as executive committee of the bourgeoisie we’ve seen in years. (Or does the Dane County Circuit Court’s suspension of the law mean that Marx’s relatively autonomous state wins out over his instrumentalist state after all?) In any case, people will be gathering in three Bay Area locations on Monday. We hope to see you there!
- In Oakland, the Alameda County Labor Council will be holding a rally in Frank Ogawa Plaza at 11:30.
- In Berkeley, people will congregate at noon at Telegraph & Bancroft.
- In San Francisco, the rally is later in the day, 4:45 at the Bank of America Building at 555 California St., a short walk from the Montgomery BART stop.
